The seibon bonnet is a good fit but I'm starting to get some cloudiness on it from water getting under the lacquer properly from stone chips so I'm going to get it re lacquered at some point

Updates

Well after lots of blood and sweat I finally had my oil cooler fitted by stevie from grinspeed, also had a baffled sump insert fitted along with some semi slicks also had the geo tweaked.

Iv gone for federal RSR semi slicks the ment to be the best all round tyre,

Had the baffled sump fitted due to the increased cornering with semi slicks it can cause oil starvation due to the position of the oil pick up.

I went for a full mocal oil cooler kit with thermostatic sandwhich plate

After breaking my gearbox I had the civic off road for a few weeks so I thought I'd get a few bits done to tidy her up

Firstly I sprayed my oil cooler black and my crash bar red(it had a bit of rust)

All sprayed up and fixed back on

Then I decided to mesh the lower front lip as I had to chop the standard grill out for the oil cooler, I tidied it up more than that afterwards

All finished

Then I managed to get hold of a rear progress 24mm arb and rose jointed drop links, I got the arb powdercoated as it was in a bad condition.

Comparing standard and 24mm

I also wrapped the exhaust in heat wrap incase it knocked on the arb can just seeit in the pics

Then I headed over to grinspeed to get the gearbox fixed and a 5.46 final drive and carbon synchros fitted

My god the car has changed it just pulls so hard, even in 6th on the motorway over taking is so easy. I can't wait to get on track And test it out properly

a massive thanks to grinspeed for fixing the car but also for all the advice

Iv bought a mugen wing but I have no pictures of that yet

The slag reached a massive milestone think I'm going to get a compression test done just to see how the old girl is and the valve clearances and maybe chain and tensioner depending how it is

Also bought a OMP targa suede steering wheel with a momo boss adapter and a D1 spec snap off boss, car now feels like a go kart and driving is a lot better now as I found myself reaching for the steering wheel with the bucket seat but now with it being a lot closer its great.

Also bought some more carbon fibre goodness

I bought a carbon fibre spark plug cover with some Tegiwa black nuts( absolutely sh!te)

Also managed to get hold of a carbon fibre slam panel cover, took me a while to find one very rare

Thanks for the comments

Iv got a track day booked for November 2nd so I can test all the new mods and see what difference they have made.

I have a few more updates to post but ill do them later

Stevie FTW. How do you get on with normal driving now the steering wheel is so far away from the indicator and wiper stalks?

I'd constantly be trying to use them and miss.
