Today was to compare the TDi-North drop-in cams to the Skunk2s and the OEM cams, as the cams are the only power changes I've made recently. The only thing was the tensioner threw a spanner in the works and gave a questionable base run on the Skunk2s for comparison.

On Thursday these cams come out, but only after another dyno run in the morning. Then the Skunk2s go back in and straight back on the dyno. Proper back to back testing and results that we were hoping for today.

Then when the stage 2 cams come in, I'll be back over for more of the same.

Don't forget I've come from the Skunk2 cams why aren't shy themselves. :lol:
 
Lol true.

I think I know where I can get a suitable socket spanner. I think Jimmy brought one when he fitted his Ultra Racing brace and he only lives in Hemel as well.

Honestly, all the 18s they sell are 8.5+ and I've enough clearance issues at the moment. :lol:

The price I've discussed with this chap as well is mutually reasonable, and will include nuts, lockers, spigots and 4 tyres though I'll probably swap them out for AD08s. Well that is the plan. P1s in bronze. :)

They are 18x7.5 and ET45. They should, should, go straight on over the Stoptechs without spacers. Paul's ET48s just clear but he's got a 3/5mm spacer, I can't remember which, just for safety.

I was looking at some Pro Race 1.2s but then these were mentioned to me on Monday. I couldn't say no to be honest, and poetic really because I missed out on that exact same set by 30 minutes originally! :lol:
