My first post on the forums so a big helloooooooooooooooooo from n,ireland.


Ok After 15years of driving vw's i decided i needed a change and finally got the car ive always wanted since i was 16 , im 31 now and time is running out so i snapped this up a few days ago and by **** they are fast the fun im having in this we motor is unreal its my first ever honda.


I haven't done a thing apart from giving it a clean today so i might aswell take a few snaps to show yas while shes clean

bought this spoon rear end a few days ago gave it a quick clean and it fitted like a glove , sounds lovely not to loud either just a nice note


Will update the thread once the bank balance is out of the minus lmao

update.......

the mate got his ep3 insured today so we headed over to the docks and took a few pics , im no professional with the camera but they didnt turn out to bad for an iphone...

HID Xenon Slim Ballast Kits with 6000k diamond white bulbs

fitted on the car

was a bit to dark to take clearer pics but use get the idea lol


Ive changed the gear oil to honda mtf3 , not 1 single crunch in any gears even when the car is drove first thing in the morning excellent stuff


cleaned PCV Valve

and also cleaned Idle Air Control Valve that bolts onto the back of the inlet

Once this wind dies down a bit im going to clean freeup and grease all 4 coilovers then im going to start saving for a performance manifold and get stuck into some nice engine mods

thanks mate , i like to get the engine sorted first for peace of mind...
engine oil and genuine filter has been done , so has the timing belt and tensioner
gearbox oil... there the most important things i would always do when buying a new car..

just to pick up a set of plugs and a fuel filter and thats her serviced for another couple of 1000 miles...

Im making a custom airbox at the minute so will post up the progress once its finished - the standard air box on the teg are very good , so no need to spend £300 on a branded box - im just making the cold air feed 6inch wide with a modified pipe and removing the resonator and it does exactly the same job , if not better than any mugen or tegiwa induction kit.. it will give a nice growl and with much improved throttle responce ect[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]

Hi there I see you have put HiD lights on a 96 TEG? How do you do this? Do you need too replace the
Headlights or can you just buy add on parts? Please exsplane further as I would like them on my TEG?
