Des will confirm, it sounded pretty tame when I picked it up. It's much better now, the remap ensures it's safe. If I really wanted power I would have bought a 3" decat and downpipe.
 
Well, it got 380/380 so a little less than I was expecting, but oh well. Ant said it's more than likely because I have the standard HKS 2.75" downpipe and a 2.75" decat, if I want 400/400 I'll have to change them. Not overly fussed right now, the car is very quick. I can't actually tell any difference from behind the wheel thought apart from the revs seem to rise a lot faster than before.

Thought it needs to go back, the intake makes a funny noise in top gear at around 3-4k rpm, not really sure what it is.

What camera did you use when on the rr?

Canon 60D, no tripod as I couldn't find the head.

When you come out the tunnel did you see the speed camera sign?

Yes, they're in the gantries on the M4, but I didn't go above 80, and I was below 75 by the time I went through. I think they're like the M25 ones, ie, just for show unless you're doing silly speeds or there's a temporary limit.
 
Very nice figures indeed. I'd need to forge my chocolate pistons if I wanted to get anywhere near that. :lol:
 
Ant thinks the 9 is good for 450 bhp when well mapped, but I'd need a new turbo elbow, down pipe, decat and probably exhaust manifold to get near that. With a 3" down pipe and decat he thinks I could gain another 20-30 bhp. :lol:
 
Not quite the magic 400 then, never mind 380 is still good.

It was nice to finally meet you and Des and see your car in the flesh :D.
 
Didn't Ant say it was 383/385? I could have sworn he did.

The video's don't really show just how good the car sounds now when on full boost.
From the passenger seat I'd say the car is considerably quicker than mine. Maybe not so much on a pull away from the lights run, but for overtaking, 40-60 etc, it would leave mine for dead.
 
Good aul Indigo GT. Chap over here went over to have his X mapped with them.
They have a really good rep, I'm certainly happy with the work that they have done so far, but I needed an Evo specialist to check the car over and do the cam belt for me and now the remap. All servicing from now on will be at TGM I think, been using them for 8 years or so.
 
Quick vid from today. Sound quality is pretty poor but you can just about hear the pops and bangs as we leave the tunnel.
