Just bought a 54 reg CTR and went onto money supermarket car insurance got a quote from AXA for £521 which was £100 cheaper than anywhere else!

Have you tried any specialists for a comparision?

Getting a cheap price on the internet doesn't necessarily mean you are getting the best cover.
 
I tried all the comparison websites and got higher quotes than going direct to each insurer.... :roll:
 
Comparison sites added about 40% on top of what my renewal was! I hate them!
 
They've always given me good prices. Then again Sky wouldn't quote with only having 1 yr NCB and Adrian Flux quoted £1,500 for me on my EP3.

Might be a different story in September...
 
Dont the insurers pay a commission to the comparison website (or the other way around?), which ends up on your premium.
So going direct will most likely get you a better quote.

True dat, I always go direct and will never use a comparison website as I want that fat c**t off the go compare advert to receive no income.
 
Yeah tried specialist insurers turned out really expensive went with axa for £488 in end got it on compare the market. Reet chuffed!
