Mugen vs Toda

Ok so I know this isn't highly scientific, but hey, compared to most things that get posted on forums it's about as accurate as we'll get.

Car: 2002 RSX Type S
Stock WBHP: 171.9wbhp@7800rpm 122lbft@6500rpm
+ Injen CAI, Toda Manifold, Mugen Catback & N2 Cams: 229.4 @ 8200rpm 158.8lbft @ 5800rpm
GAIN: 57.5whp 36.8ft/lbs

Vs
Car: 2002 RSX Type-S
Stock WBHP: 171.2wbhp @7500rpm 131.0lbft@6100rpm
+ Injen CAI, Toda Manifold, Toda Catback & N2 Cams: 231.1@8100rpm 165.1@6100rpm
GAIN: 59.9whp 34.0ft/lbs

Each car is different as we know, and this seems to highlight that pretty well. The Toda catback makes larger BHP gains, whereas the Mugen gives more torque, that is of course on the basis that each car is the same.

Still fairly interesting reading though.

I wait with baited breath to see what my CTR can do once N2's go in comparison to the above!

:)

Toda will no doubt outperform Mugen.
I mean Mugen twin loop is one of the first exhaust system to be released on EP3 and DC5 and it was excellent at its time. However Toda has only been released.
Toda has taken many years to improve the design which brings out better results hence the high cost.

Interesting.

Trung - I though the Mugen costs more than the Toda
