Loving the headlight restoration, can you give me some info on that stuff?

Hi guys, The Megs kit works very well essentially it is comprised of three items a buffer head for your drill, a bottle of fine grade compound and a microfibre cloth. You simply clean the headlight mask off the paint work and put the compound on the buffer and slowly start to buff, i say slowly to start otherwise the momentum throws the compound all over the place!

You can use practically any drill but corded is better as you run out of juice quickly with a cordless. once all the compound had been rubbed off polish the plastic with the cloth, check the results and start again if required.

If you already have a buffer then you can buy the compound separately. all in it cost me about 30 quid which is not bad considering i have lots of compound left and the buffer pad is good to go again.

Headlights look great mate :D .

By the looks of things, like the missing spoiler nuts and the SFS hose, that DC5 has seen some tatsy pieces in the past !!

Sure has bud. The last owner had a GM, K-Pro, and full Spoon exhaust system with header. which all came off the car but also did the fast road setup at TGM which I am certainly not complaining about.

Been really lax with the updates lately so here is another update.

Bought a new stereo as the OEM one although a 6 CD/MD headunit is not the best.
