My First EP3 Type R! More Photos

So basically, I bought a silver 2002, pre-facelft EP3 Type R on saturday.

Planning a colour scheme. Blue. So have a Blue Tow hook on the way. Thinking Blue locking nuts.

But need a bit of help with ideas for a stick stack on the rear windscreen.

What sort of rules so to speak, should I follow planning my sticker stack. Should I match the stickers to my blue theme? Or would random coloured ones be okay?

Needs a few things changed over. Centre console has a crack in it etc but nothing that hampers performance.

So a bit about me. Im 19, apprentice bicycle frame builder and now a very proud ep3 owner :D

Plans:
Already have new Type R Mats on the way.
Rear Tow Hook
Wind deflectors

Plans for the future:
Debating Spoon N1
Going to pull the dash out and paint it.
Get a new centre console
4-2-1 Manifold with decat
Second wheel set. The ones on the car need a refurb soon. want them sprayed white and the second set Black.

I will post up photos when new bits arrive.

Thanks for having a look!

Welcome aboard chap, car looks lovely, do prefer the pre-facelift myself

I've got the Spoon N1 on mine, not cheap, but does sound good! :D

Thank everyone.

I do prefer the facelift model, but couldn't really afford the prices people were asking locally.

I have been in a friends EP3 with a spoon n1, sounds epic but it's a lot of money to spend, especially when you buy the car and insurance all before payday.

Welcome to the forum.

If you're going with a blue theme, may as well get the stickers to match the blue. Please please please don't buy some shít ones

Hello and welcome :)

Been for a cruise this evening with a friend that currently has a 182. He now wants a ep3 or dc2.

And the no stickers seems to be popular.

Just get URL Club stickers mate.

I'll see you around frome! I usually drive up there with some friends.

Actually, I'm doing this legally.

Have the TRO strikers in the car lined up ready to go on when I get a dry day.

Strikers you say...?

Doing it legally? How? Insurers sh1t bricks of gold when any sub 20's buy warm hatches, then run away if they think about performance mods before 25...

Nice EP3 :D

I'm currently sniffing around a few! Love the silver ones the best but there doesnt seem to be that many of em about :(

Car looks good. Blue/silver is a good colour scheme to go for, as for your "sticker stack" i think as long as you like it you can put whatever colours and stickers you want on it :). Chuck a pink one in the mix *** lol

Well I was looking for a cosmic grey face lift but couldn't get one for a good price.

So far, only the TRO Sticker is on the rear, driver side window. Thinking about one on the passenger side in the top of the windscreen.

So another update.

Spoon Back box going on.

Me and a friend had some trouble getting the b pipe un-done at the cat end so I took it to a garage in Trowbridge which fitted the new b pip. Thanks to 4kas for meeting me and showing me around his car and a thanks to everyone at the garage that spoke to me, you all seemed really friendly and top people!

So the next couple of stages:
- Use some Gunk Engine Degreaser Foam to clean the engine bay.

- Looking at buying a 2nd set of wheels to refurb ready for Japfest as mine look like this.

- Then its just the little things like the cracked centre console, rough looking dash and the odd scratch on the plastics in the rear of the car where the passengers sit.

Not the best photo of the scratches but you get the idea where they are.

Also, got a Rear tow hook which was fitted last week.

Other than that, no other big plans as of yet. Would love a Carbon intake, but cant justify buying that yet.
