Very close match for the Spoon ETD mate & looks good :cool:
I think you should change the colour of the breather & main intake pipe back to black tbh mate.

Also get them Spoon socks off & in the wash & into the tumble you dirty toad :p

do you know how hard it is to source a blue breather for the GM, the bonnet is not raised enough to warrant that ;)

I like the blue SFS intake hose :)

There will be no more engine bay dress up :smt023

Next off, BDL fuel rail fitted, then focusing on things like brakes, early next year I think and then it is going to be A3 cammed :twisted::twisted:

No idea, but surely Samco could supply you a length of that diameter hosing?
I just don't think the SFS it sits very nicely with the other shade of blue mate.
Had the rocker cover been a match for the SFS intake it would of looked better imo.

With the A3 cams do you loose the VTEC change over?

Perhaps I will look in to it in the future, I might drop 'xp0sed' a PM :eek:

THE SFS hose is not to bad, looks better in the flesh than phone camera pics.

A3 cams will make you lose the changeover yes, but it is only audible now with the map I have at the moment.

Did you have you vtec change over smoothed out too Stu?

Artech advised me to have mine smoothed out as it gives for better delivery of the power. But said that some people have it left in to give that 'kick' feeling.

Vtec is still obvious due to the GM and surge in torque for me.
 
Yeah it is smoothed out but I can hear it when it comes in - Paul at TDi mapped it for me as you know and I'm very pleased with how it drives :smt023

I was under the impression of the better the map, the smoother the power feels once KPRO'd Nick.
 
Looking very nice, as said by the others getting better with every update! :cool:

I got a black breather hose for my Gruppe M from an ebay seller called auto specialists i think it was, he sells all manner of hoses. The one i bought was classed as Vacuum Hose and did the job perfectly, he also had quite a few colour choices too ;)

Yes mate, Charlie at the Surry RR said that too, so I was happy to have mine as smooth as it could be.

The guy's were saying though that some people still wnated to have the jolt of change over and didnt like the idea of just a smooth constant pull.

As it is, and as Stu said its obvious when the K20's get their legs going as the car pulls a lot harder and the pitch changes, there's no need for a jolt and loss in power.
 
Looking very good mate, the rocker cover looks a slightly different shade compared to the pic you had posted previously, optical illusion no doubt.

If you do taht the wing will go real quick real fast.

I'd say keep it.

I think it looks very good, matched with a carbon bonnet and your there.
