felt like doing something abit different the other day and had some tint of paint and some masking and thought i would give it a go let me know what you think...

Finish should be fine, soon as your moving the air cools your bonnet fairly well

The pad under the bonnet is only sound proofing anyway

Looks good. It should hold up ok, my exhaust manifold heat shield is painted with alloy wheel paint and its fine.

I was thinking the same thing!

looks good, if its been done with the same base and laquer as what you'd paint your car with then it will be fine with your under bonnet temps

Yes and no. It's been a few times before and unfortunately where people easily identify the Swastika with the Holocaust and inhumanity, people know a lot less about the war in the Pacific.
