When I was in honda for a service a few weeks ago one of the staff said that there would be no more 3-door civics, no more civic hybrid and no more civic type-r. instead the focus for honda would generally be on having more petrol hybrids in their general line up rather than fun cars..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. He didnt think it was a Uk only thing either.
 
Don't lose your sleep. That's just the American rubbish they get over there. Nothing to worry about for us here.

Besides it's a bit boring. The UK one will look like a UFO plus some.

Heavily disguised. Looks to have the front end off the old car with a different lower grill/splitter grafted on and most of the old lower rear end stuck on over the top. You can see the headlights though and there is still a rear wash wipe on there.

why would you make them stand out so much if you want to keep it under wraps.

Would anyone notice the car if they were just in a standard colour all badged up like a normal car?

People will spot them regardless of how leary they look. The pattern are most likely to trick the eye into not recognising the lines of the cars. Kind of like an optical illusion.

The technique used here is known as dazzle camouflage.
 
I'm contemplating this scheme in a wrap for my CTR. :lol:

Aye, you can see the rough outline but you don't see little subtleties like the shapes of the bumpers and the wheel arches. Looks like the plastic arches are staying.
