The boot on the new CTR despite being massive can actually be a pain as it's so deep. As much as i did enjoy watching the wife bending over the rear bumper to reach her stuff from the boot floor, once I sorted out a spare wheel I wanted to split the boot with a false floor.
These are fitted on regular Civics and I did find a damaged one at a breakers but even that was £80. God knows how much a new one would have been at the dealers!
With a supply of automotive carpet from another job I thought sod it, I'll make one!
Now not your usual mod for one of these, but as my every day vehicle doing 25000 miles a year, just as with the spare it makes it easier to live with on a daily basis.
