O2 Sensor question.

My o2 exhaust sensor had failed and Honda wants ridiculous money for a replacement part.

I'm now wondering if I'd be able to buy the cheaper ones online? I saw one for £69.

What difference does it make?

thanks

Not as reliable by all accounts. Cheaper ones have been known to fail - may as well bite the bullet and get the Oem honda sensor which will last.

Okay thanks!

Will the cheaper ones work fine though?

As I think my friend already ordered me one.

They will, but for how long is anyone's guess. Some people with DC5's opt for the cheaper ones which have failed again quite quickly.

Don't even waste your money with the cheaper one, just get Honda.

I had a cheapie job UJ, first drive after fitting it, it went pop. Just take the hit bud and go for OEM quality.

You Jay is it the primary or secondary sensor that you need? think i may have a brand new unused genuine honda one in the loft if you are interested?
