Watch out for the locals, their car's are bloody silent from what i saw when watching a few go round.

Pmp.... Was it a blue estate mini? If so, there's no shame in being overtaken by the ringmini!!

OP... If the testarossa or any of the other 50euro test drive cars are there I can recommend taking the opportunity! Well, I can only speak for the testarossa, can't be sure the other owners are so forgiving with their cars.

Take it easy on your first few laps. I tried to pick out a local with a slower car to help me with the lines once I'd done a couple laps. Old stipped out 80s scirroco still got away from me eventually :lol:

Might have been the ring mini. It's armed with a K20 and takes care of most things around there :eek:

I've got a Go-Pro HD 3, so I'll post the video up if I make it back in a non-comatose state.
 
I just got new brakes today, which might help. It's also got decent tyres all round and Eibach springs.
 
Just treat it like a country lane you've not been on. Don't try and race anyone on there either or it'll end in tears.
 
Originally it was a b16, last I heard it was a mid mounted b18. That was a couple years ago though when I still had my mini :(
 
The owners name is Achim. He sometimes features on the german version of top gear with that blonde shmitz bird. He lives local to the 'ring and built the car himself.

I made it!

Although I did get a shock coming over the crest of a hill to a biker lying in the road, and a car swerving round him!
