I thought the speed limit of the dual carriageway was higher than it was.

It was a regular thing in Wilton and Salisbury mate, they always pulled cars and especially trucks over for random checks. Fair play.

Oh and I was pulled over once in my Integra. At 5 am on a Sunday morning in a small village dressed in an Afro wig and 70's gear. They made sure I wasn't drunk and let me on my way.
