has anyone had this done? looking into it as i have a spare head lieing at home that needs attention, so was planning rebuilding it an having this done! what sort of gain do you get?

You'll probably not see any extra power out of it, as Ed says, the K20 head is a pretty special beast as standard. It is tuned to fit the the way the engine works perfectly. Most people don't bother with head mods as they are pretty much a waste of time on this lump, you're better going for breathing mods and a good map. Then if you still want more power you could look at cams etc. If you really want to go big you need to be looking at Superchargers or Turbos as the K20 can be hard to tune to big figures in an NA guise.
