FD2 Prices in UK

Hi Lads,

What is the FD2 R going for in the UK these days?
Looking to sell my 2008 (Championship White) with 17000 on the clock.

It was originally registered in UK, i don't have the uk plates anymore but have the uk reg number. It is now registered in IRL.

Yeah from what I can see they seem to start at £15k but they don't tend to sell fast. PM Edy, he just sold his silver one, he might be able to give you some pointers.

If you're in Eire, what's the export process like to the UK? I know it's quite simple in NI.

as eire not UK there are more hoops just as if it were coming from any european country so pain in the ass, some form of SVA.

NI to england is easy enough. get car to england with their ownership document, then new MOT in england, fill in form v55/5 (from memory), take to local dvla office with all car paperwork. you will need to buy english road tax at this point and then dvla will get a v5 sent out to you.

for eire to UK with vehicle being under 10 years old it will need to be SVA'd which has a higher cost attached to it. also VAT payable i believe. plus the faffing around with docs. done ni to england but never ireland to england so i might be wrong.

govt information here rather than bullshit on internet forum http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motorin...icle/ImportingAndExportingAVehicle/DG_4022583
