Quickshift induction?

Just got an ep3 few weeks ago and finally found the induction kit make that is on it.

I'm 100% going to change it in the future but for the time being is it okay to have on for now?
As I heard cones usually cause heat soke, loss of power?

Just wondering if anyone knows if these are any good or not?

Will sound well. You will be down on power. Heat soak factor. Standard air box would be much better

Enough to not justify the price. They are cheap and not very good for a reason, don't waste your time and money, save for a bit longer and go for a Long Ram cold air kit like the AEM CAI. Or save for even longer and get the Tegiwa M kit, or save for even longer and get the daddy of intakes , The Gruppe M.

You could probably buy a OEM box and sell that on ebay and not loose any money.

OEM air box, hondata mod, uprated filter and a 90mm CAF (around £70 in total) will probs give better gains than the heat soak filter until you save enough for the daddy M!!
