Radio stopped working!!?

A couple months back i changed one of my door speakers to a new infinity 6510, it started raining so i didnt do the other side. that still has the old speaker in it, as does the rear. Drivin to work today the music stopped, I gave the door a kick and it worked again for 5 mins then stopped again, and now wont play.What could cause this? surly if its a lose wire on the speaker the other sude and the rears should still work, or does it stop the whole thing?

Would a short cut the amp out?

Took the door card of at weekend and a tiny piece of wire had come loose and was touching on the other terminal, I guess like you say that must have shorted it all out. Its been re-soldered and all cleaned up and it works great again. just need to do the other side at some point.
