Received my renewal quote from Privilege

And my premuim is now £1300. So that's a drop of £500. Not bad. I will phone round for more quotes though.

I'll pass you some details for a friend of mine that works for a insurance co.

He used to work @ A-Plan, but now works for someone else & he called me the other evening to say he'll confidently say he'll price competitively :wink:

Yea mate £1800 I was paying. :cry:

I have only 2 years NCB but through no fault of my own :cry:

My old car was broken into and had the stereo stolen = 1st claim made

4 months later the same car was broken into again, stolen and then found burnt out in Milton Keynes = 2nd claim made

2 claims in 1 year on the same policy with a group 15 RS Turbo rustbox.

Since that happened no insurance companies would even insure me. Not even on a 1 litre Fiesta etc. So I bought my next car, a Sh!troen Saxo VTR and becuase I couldnt get insured with my own policy I had to get mummy to insure it :lol: and I was a named driver on her policy. For 3 years it stayed like that.

Then I decided to get the CTR and insure it on my own with nil NCB :lol:

I'm actually a careful driver so I have been building up the ncb and so far im up to 2 years. :lol:
