removing ecu

Hi all. I have a k100 ecu fitted and mapped to my car, but i need to remove it as im supercharging the car and getting a base map on ecu so i can drive it to the tuners rather than trailer it there.My question is. . Can i just unplug it or do I need to do something with immobiliser too? Thanks

You just unplug it but another ECU won't work with your keys as they are coded to your ECU.

He just means you won't be able to use the car while your ECU is away having the map loaded onto it.

just a question Im looking to swap my setup to a different car can any mapper or alike code the key to the ecu?

Mapper or main dealer should be able to do that for you.

Yep. The ecu in my car is from an arial atom.the mapper just swapped them over and coded it in

Download KManager and buy/borrow USB and upload base map yourself.
