Replacement filters

Hi there, just wondering...

Where's the best place to buy replacement filters for induction kits? Like the AEM/K&N Typhoon?

Not going to be changing mine, but the bloke who's interested in buying my kit wants to get a new filter.

Where's the cheapest place to get one? I'm guessing i'll need to go measure the size of the tube?

Never changed or cleaned mine since i had it, so i'm guessing it's pretty manky :smt087

Wonder if i'll notice a difference if i change mine to a new one

Also, does it make any difference in terms of performance if it's an unbranded one? Or best to get a K&N one again?

Guessing it'll make a bit of difference, but nothing noticeable

Like anything you get what you pay for matey.

In my experience unbranded ones can look ok but they lose shape because they are badly made.

I bought a cheap one from ebay for my Injen copy induction kit, it made a huge difference to the old one which wasn't that dirty really to start with.
