Hi all,
I have an 07 type r with 35k miles it's an awesome car except when reversing on inclines, I bought it in March and it was diagnosed with a badly worn clutch. This was replaced by the dealer after a lot of hassle ....... The new clutch then suffered from shudder in first and in reverse, after 3 months the garage replaced the clutch again and I got them to skim the flywheel!! Fixed ........... Almost, t's now silky smooth except I'm back to where I started with the surging / juddering as the car is reversed on inclines!
Is this a characteristic of FN2's?
Has anyone else suffered with this problem? Gearbox? Clutch? Or something more obscure?
........ Basically I can't deal with the trans being pulled again, and garages aren't interested unless they are just chucking in a clutch as fast as pos.
Any ideas or experience would go a long way!
