S2000 & NSX S2000 insurance

Ressucitating the thread.

Trying to get an insurance deal for the s2k at the moment...

I'm with A-Plan for the EP3 (insured with 2NCB , 3 in 1 month time) and it cost me about 800 (was 450 before the +200bhp power hike :D )

They quoted me £1659 for the s2k insured as a 2nd car with no NCB and for 4000miles a year!
Trying with Sky Insurance at the moment for the 2 cars ...

Admiral: £1969

anyone got a very good idea to put forward ?
Thanks

I've literally just picked up my S2000 and i was initially put off by insurance quotes of around the £1200 mark.

I found a website that recommended using these insurance search engines though and ended up with a quote of £681 including everything apart from breakdown cover.

http://www.moneysupermarket.com

http://www.uswitch.com

The best quote i had was through gocompare.

I hope that helps :)

thank you.
I managed to get a good quote through a business trader insurance that covers my personal cars too ;)

im in exactly the same position, im 22 and have 1 years no claims, i was looking at insurance and it was around £4300 fully comp on gocompare.com, and then i edit it and changed it to third party fire and theft and it went down a whopping £3000 to £1300. dunno if your intrested it trying third party fire and theft, but its an idea till u get a few more years no claims.

Thank god for being a little older (Over 35 but Under 40!!!)
I insured my S2000GT last year for £527. Fully comp Protected and had my partner on there too.

Not that it matters now. i had my fun with it for 18 months and now have the FN2 to play with. that was only £400 to insure.
