I went out to get a video, bit of a drive up Coopers Hill then down into Birdlip, but towards the end things didn't sound so good, 99% sure it's blowing between the manifold and the cat. Everything is way too hot to even attempt to consider getting near to it to have a look so I'll take it back to the garage that fitted it in the morning. In the meantime I'll try and get something uploaded. The good news however is the loss of power at around 7k rpm seems to have vanished. The bad news is not only is it blowing, but I forgot to log it for Mase.

Guy in the red top seems to like it as it approaches the 9200rpm redline. :lol:

Numbers were pretty poor, probably due to it being the first map on since the manifold was changed.

Do you plan on upgrading the induction Chris?

I originally wanted the J's racing one, but I managed to get the Mugen intake for under £400; the J's would have been around £800 and a 6 week wait so my mind was made up for me.

Should be here within a week (pic above is it on the sellers car). :)
 
Thats a good looking bit of kit.

I take it you'll get it mapped again with the manifold & intake once its fitted
 
95% sure I'm going to take it to TDI North for a full tune. I've got a good mate that lives near Manchester so I could combine it with a weekend on the pop. :)
