FN2 Sapphire blue type r?

Is this a "real" type r colour? If so, how many were made in this colour? I wasn't aware of it as an option colour, nor ever seen one before in this colour

Yes it was a genuine Honda colour option that was only around for a year or so before being discontinued.

Definitely the 2nd best colour after white, much like the 'Daytona Blue' the new GTR's come in

I got offered one of these from Honda before I bought mine (they had one in stock). But it was just the interior didn't go with the blue. If they had done a one off blue and black interior, now that would have been awesome.

MuggedOff has one in blue with a S/C bolted on, but he's very rarely on here.
