Spoon magnetic drain bolts

I have a set, but which is for the engine and which is for the gearbox as one bolt has a long magnet and the other bolt has a short magnet!?

The magnetic bolt will hold the miscule fragments of metal rather than allow them to wash around inside the engine internals.

Yes that is the idea, and really more suited to engines that have had extencive work done to the internals.

Still, I just wanted some for the day to day standard k20a in my CTR.

Back to my question though, Which bolt is for what !?!

:D

well if they were so important they'd come on all cars as standard. I mean they can't be expensive parts.

Alot of car do have them as standard.

And I still need to know which bolt goes where out of the 2!

If you post pics I will tell you the one which looks the most like the magnetic bolt I have in my sump.

OK, im sure that the Spoon ones will be the same as Skunk, so long one in the engine oil sump, and short one in the gearbox. Thanks guys.
