Sportex mid pipe/ bpipe?

Has anybody bandaged their manifold & decat? Does it make a huge difference performance wise? A little advise would be great.
 
Ok Boys i got my b pipe fitted today! As always it was a pain in the ass! Old rusty bolts as always, anyway sounds amazing very very deep now in tone, i have uploaded 2 video's for anyone who is intrested in the finished result the first video is a drive by and the second is from the inside with my girlfriend driving as she wanted a go lol, let me know what you think!

thanks mate i was in two minds about the sportex, but the vid has made my mind up, your lucky my girl doesnt want to drive my car even though she is insured.
 
So you getting one then mate lol? My girl has just bought a fiesta zetec tdi she now wishes she bought a type r ep3 lol
 
i think so, love the sound but dont know if i will put oe back box on as i like the look of it, gives a good sound as well. my girl has an astra 05 1.8 sri, and when we go anywhere with the kids i have to drive her car ( 5 seats) feckin hate it too slow.
 
quick update guys just bought the scorpion unsilenced center pipe from fleabay, let you know when i fit it and try and get a vid.

Nice one mate, I think a b pipe unsilenced will sound similar to any other unsilnced b pipe. How much ?
 
In My opioion these sportex b pipes are crap !i had one fitted to My Saxo vtr they just rust and fall apart after a year . You get What u pay for , im going to go supersprint unsilenced to oem back box. Hopefully will add abit more power aswell , i Also have a tegiwa carbon induction kit which is getting delivered today :)
 
Ive just ordered another sportex unsilenced bpipe, with any luck will be getting it fitted tomorrow with oem backbox. How much did you pay for the supersprint?

Havent ordered it yet waiting till next pay day as My induction set me back £350 ! I believe the pipes are about £225 but that is unsilenced if you Want silcencer expext to pay about £300 !
