After seeing a few of the 8th gens over on Civinfo, I've caught the modding bug :)

Purchased R alloys -

Followed by a set of Syron Race 1 tyres to wrap them in...

Then I bought the rear section of the GP kit, keep meaning to phone Holcroft and buy the front...

Something small next, a carbon key cover...

Then my favourite mod to date, a set of ABP's Eibach 30mm FN2 springs, on a Type S it drops it by 40/45mm...

Quite a bit more to come, next few will be ....

- Heko Wind Deflectors

- Type R Spoiler

- Eibach 15mm Spacers, buying these off a mate, in the next few weeks :)

More planned for the future.

Thanks for looking ;)

Steve

It's a nice colour that, shows off the lines of the car really well!

Totally agree with the spoiler and spacers, get it done! :smt023

Thanks all! Was just wondering wether I'd get some rubbing at the rear of the car as it is pretty low.

You've lost me.. explain :)

The way you have worded and spaced your post it seems as if there are meant to be extra photos after your text.

It's hard to say really as I'm not sure if your dampers would be the same as on the FN2.

I had a set 15mm Eibach springs on but I'm sure they'd sent the 30mm kit in error. I ran them with 15mm spacers front and rear and didn't have any issues at the rear.

I have however rubbed holes in the front arch liners big enough to put my fist through. That's with about 1.5 deg camber on the front.

I've since changed the springs to a known set of 15mm and put the CW spec dampers on and have no issues whatsoever with rubbing. I'd also lost 1 1/2 stone so that might have something do with it, but I'm not planning on putting it back on to test that out!

Haha fair play, yeah think i'll give them ago, just to confirm... any rubbing issues wont damage my tyres will it?

And a hole in the arch liner wont matter?

I'm still on the same tyres as when this picture was taken, just rotated them this morning actually.

Holes in the liners just means that some dirt will get up there. I might underseal the arches at some point just to be sure.

Ah okay mate, not fussed about a bit of dirt somewhere I cant see it lol.... awesome picture by the way pal, saw this on civinfo a while back... Dont know how I've never seen or heard of this forum mann! Haha, only ever seen CTRO or Civinfo...

nice colour civic stevo got to ask is the reason you bought a s instead of a r just down to insurance because it looks great but you are never going to get the r driver feeling
