Right guys, fitted my supersprint bpipe today along with my spoon n1, everything fine, apart from all the bolts were seized on, took the cat off when i was changing bpipe, put everything back on, made sure nothing was blowing and all sensors was in and now engine check light is on. Double checked everything again but its still on, car runs fine as far as i can see & feel but im not sure why its on?

Has anybody had the same problem before and does anybody know what could be the problem?

Any help would be great

Thanks

Disconnect the battery for a few mins to reset it. Then see if it comes back.

You may have broken a sensor somehow e.g the lamder.

If it does get it read by Honda or another specialist.

As above, check to make sure the lambda wires haven't been damaged & that they are definately connected properly. It may sound obvious but it's easy to miss!

What other mods do you have?

When you decat the type r's doesnt the engine management light appear becasue the sensor cannot read porperly without the cat in? Cant you get an o2 sensor to stop this?

An o2 sensor is whats in the cat, when you de-cat you need to put an O2 simulator in to by pass the engine management i belive.

He's fitted a B pipe. Why does he need a 02 sim........

He doesnt need a O2 sim, like you said its just a B pipe, don't know maybe he damaged it getting it off.
