Teigwa fuel economy?

Hi lads going to buy a Teigwa carbon fibre airbox today! just wondering for the people that have one or a Gruppe M which is similar how has fuel economy been effected?wouldn't want it to change it completly! Thanks

I doubt there would be a major change on normal driving, however full on VTEC everywhere will be a big change.

I think you would want to cain it everywhere for the first month or so, so beware.

in theorey it should be better as its getting more cold air in thus meaning better burn and less fuel needed.

however,,,,,

in reality , due to the noise you will put your foot down more entering the Vtec a lot more and end up burning more fuel.

More cold air would actually mean more fuel consumed as your ecu compensates for it by adding more fuel.
