Cheers guys. Really appreciate the honesty. My bonnet is all stone chipped and it was a birthday pressie from the wife. Do you think carbon fibre is not the way forward also?

Carbon fiber bonnet was my solution. Got it from Tegiwa for like 300 and something quid. I'd have loved to have kept the white bonnet but yeah the stone chips are just depressing.

Wasn't that bad.

Never had a problem with carbon bonnets lifting myself. Get a few man points for having bonnet catches though.
