How does the GM work on the FD2??? its got a scuttle for cool air and also its open to warm engine heat with the filter exposed...

The ducts channel cool air to the exposed filter from the grille.

It's worth remembering that carbon fibre is actually an insulator for heat, so if you wanted a truly effective CAI system it wouldn't be made of CF. Aluminium with a vacuum layer would be far more effective.

They can't get anything but cold air obviously depending on the speed because of the ram air effect.. (Straight up the bonnet into the airbox keeping a constant supply of cold oxygen ) simples.

My previous fd2 was standard and this fd2 is in another League, so much more responsive. You can hear and feel the Gruppe M noticeably !

They come with the template & very easy to guide on.

To get the wheels refubed

While I was there discussing gloss black or satin finish, he got a few lads out to look around the car & they all said I should go gloss the match the spoiler + front grill etc..

I left it with him, it'll be a suprise when I pick it up lolz.
