Maybe a stupid question here but i'm prone to them from time to time.

How long/far does it take to wear in a set of front tyres?

I say this because i went from a drive the other day and the car was slipping around like anything and was very lively. Got new front boots & FRSU done again.

Are the pressure correct? Some tyres fitters don't bother to set the pressure after they've seated the tyres bead on the rim and leave it silly high.....

good shout neil. dodgy tyre pressures might make it feel like that.

Just had full set of PS2's fitted again and as before they took about 200 miles bed in. Self restraint was shown. No frsu though, so not sure how that would affect it if at all.

Worst tyre I had on the DC5. The DC2 had them on when I bought it and they were binned, hate the fecking things.
