WelshyWelsh's Alfa Giulietta JTDM Veloce

So I'm two months into Alfa ownership and it's just so very Italian.

It was bought as a motorway cruiser, so the little things are important. The cup holders in the door are so small that they don't actually hold any cups, the ones in the middle are useless as when you pull the arm rest down, you can't get your drink. My phone connects for calls but not for playing mp3s, my girlfriend's phone does the opposite. We have the same phone.

For a comfortable driving position, the seat is quite far back, so I keep putting the back windows down instead of the front. The B pillar is also completely in the way of needing to see minor things like other cars.

The insulation in the engine fell out as per the previous post, but it's still working so who knows.

Oh and every time I turn off the engine, it now makes this noise for 5 minutes:

And without doubt all the above just really makes me like it! Personality innit :p

I'm also averaging 49mpg on all forms of driving, it's really pretty quick in D mode, the wheels and brakes just look amazing and I don't worry about it as I did the M200, so every journey is a calm one.

It's preparing itself for a viking burial on the hard shoulder

Brilliant.

I had a headunit in the Evo that would do voice all the time but music 5% of the time. Did my head in. The BMW works flawlessly as you'd expect.
