Wrapping Manifolds: How Far...

I plan to purchase a JR manifold in the not to distant furture and plan to cover it using heat resistent wrap designed to take the heat out the engine ba.

In addition to wrapping the manifold, would / can anyone recommend using the spray in addition to wrap or is this a bit excessive?

Just bought some of this stuff.

Ready to mummify mine. I did buy the black pre-sludged version for £31.

Must get some stainless cable ties next.

I'm pretty sure that 1" x 50' will do the whole manifold.

8' of wrap to cover 1' of manifold.
