Hi there. Thinking of upgrading the exhaust but can't make my mind up. Any1 got any ideas on which exhaust to fit on the new civic type r. Was thinking of the miltek Wat do you guys think thanks.
 
I still think there are no good sounding exhausts yet.

Invidia is coming with an exhaust in the upcoming weeks, maybe that would be better.

The only thing I hear is the car going into it's rev limiter, offcourse it crackles then. :p

I have seen video's of the Martelius system and its doesn't sound that impressive. I may wait for Buddy Club and HKS's offerings.
 
You could be waiting a long long time for JDM stuff, Japan have only been given 500 fk2s, black & CW only & don't seem interested in releasing anything for the car.
So far we've got the single exit mugen exhaust & the much waited Js racing system that was a really huge let down.

Its been mentioned that because the new global 10g type R that's coming out this yr, could mean companies aren't showing much interest in the FK2 as its limited numbers. The global 10g we'll see no end of stuff available which is a shame
 
Yeah it sucks from a tuning point of view. However with only 2,500 FK2's made we have a collectors car on our hands. Maybe leaving them standard is the better option. It not like they aren't fast enough.
 
I have a J's Racing on order, not seen any reviews by someone who actually has own fitted in the uk yet so I'm looking forward to seeing it fitted to my car and how it performs. I have been searching for months though go parts that I really want as your right that not many manufacturers have really got onboard with the FK2. I only went with J's Racing as I have wanted one since I owned an s2000 but I couldn't afford one then
