Right.
I'm on the hunt for a sump and need one soon , Tom is ringing Mugen euro later to see if anything can be done. I've abandoned the clutch fitting for today as I would rather the sump was fitted when the sub frame is off to make it more cost effective.
I had a look at the car today as it has been there for a couple of weeks.
The plug cover is on , so are the modulo fronts.
Excuse the dirt.
Adjustable
There is a little cap that goes over the top of them.
The rears , well there's a story about them.
When I dropped it off to get them changed , the koni's require a sleeve which is removed from the oem struts.
Oem struts below. And the sleeve is next to number two.
For whatever reason Tom had said its best to get two new sleeves , as my oem ones needed some persuasion to get off when the koni ones went on.
They don't sell the sleeves seperatley. Luckily a friend who works at honda salvaged some from their scrap bin (off an fn2)
So I test fitted them on my standard shocks
I even bought some used fn2 shocks front and rear too. This was before my friend managed to get some.
So..... As It turns out I don't need the sleeves , they don't fit over the modulo anyway ! The modulo doesn't require the sleeves as they are the same width as the thread
I'm pleased to also report that I most certainly won't have any scrubbing with this set up. The geo will be done after the clutch has gone on , may look at some rigid collars too. I'm thinking about 1.8deg on the rear.
