A fine example you've got there mate! I've been persuaded recently to sell my bronze FN2 for the silver by all the recent posts on here.
Oh do it Mr.H

That is soo clean i wouldn't want to sit in it. Cracking job you've done though in cleaning it mate.Had a bit of time to tidy the interior up today
Was looking like this when I brought it home
Today I cleaned up all the footwells with Megs All Purpose Cleaner and triple detail brush.
Hoovered the whole car
Megs APC on all the seats, applied with an Autoglym Microfibre Interior Pad
Scrub in gently, then blot away with a dry towel to avoid water marks.
All door cards and plastics cleaned with APC and protected with 303 Aerospace.
This is the pedal box before cleaning
And the sills were a bit dirty
Pedals again
Bit of bobbling on the drivers side bolster - we'll soon have that sorted
Half way there
And done.
The tool to sort it soooo easily.
£10 or something, mother in law bought it me back in 2006!!
Pedals looking like new again
Red Honda Type R mats added
Then I had this little fella make himself comfortable in the garage.
He wouldn't fly out on his own and kept moving from one place to the other.
...until he flew up and got stuck behind the back of my racking.
He was right under the bottom shelf, I could see him with the torch, and I think he was frightened.
So ALL the stuff had to come out the bottom of the garage, jacks, ramps, axle stands, machines, boxes, bottles, files, and emptied the racking so I could shift it.
Soon as I lifted it off him he flew out the side door - thankfully not hurt.
Getting back to it, I left the interior looking like this.
You can see the seats are quite a lot cleaner and brighter.
Love the passenger side temp control on the GT.
The seats came up like new.
And a few late shots parked back up in the garage.
Footwell lighting is great with the new mats in
They just put the alloy Type R logo in the perfect place to reflect nicely when you open the door.
Happy with the outside, happy with the inside now.
Cosmetic bits done other than the alloys to be refurbed.

Top work and great photos!
I'm watching this very closely because as of three days ago I'm also an fn2 owner
Mine's a 57plate and the mats are slightly different to yours.. I don't have footwell lights either
Lovely and clean. Makes me miss being on DW with a write up like that.
Great news mate - what did you get!!?
