Getting very bad knocking/vibration from front when brake around 60mph+ .Have read other threads on this forum but no one seems to post when they have gotten to bottom of it.Possible warped discs? Any ideas welcome

Is good to know that I wouldn't be abĺe to spend that sort of momey on an exhaust anyway at the minute might have to go fpr the oem cheaper optuon at the minute lol Car only has the scorpion cat back system on it so I'm sure putting an oem backbox on the system won't restrict it that much.

Was thinking of fitting a second hand oem one however a lot of them look corroded which is obvious and don't know how good the ebay copies are.Thanks will look in to the Fujitsubo Legalis R.

Looking to reduce exhaust noise I have scorpion cat back to get rid of the drone and the noise in general as I leave for work early and I'am generally just sick of the noise. Considering changing back box to oem but wondering if this will run ok and not restrictive?I also tried fitting one...

Thanks for the feedback. I have ordered the same Kumho ku39 for rear I know not the top performance tyres but a lot worse tyre out there.

Need to replace rear tyres as they have worn out uneven and i suspect this is casing vibrations.They were only falken tyres on rear anyway. I got some Kumho ku39s on front which i think are good mid range tyre,would it be ideal to put same on rear?

Need some new pads on front they have Brembo ones on euro car parts and also is usual 30% sale on.

The kumho ku39 seem decent mid range even compared to the proxes think will stay away from the nexens

Car failed mot last night on two front tyres.I think anything would be better than what is on it now.Found Toyo proxes for £75 all in per corner. Anyway rang garage to order them in and he claimed these "Nexen" tyres are just as good as the bridgestones or goodyear,anybody had these nexen on...

Anybody know if oem standard back box will be a direct fit on to my scorpion cat back system?Sick of the drone for last 2 years.

Thanks for quick reply ! I shouldn't notice too much of a powerloss then as this is the only modifcation done to the car the cat back system and reckon will go ahead with it sick of the drone at 4000rpm lol

I have a full cat back exhuast system on my ep3 however a lot of my drives are long distance so was thinking of putting a standard backbox on to stop loudness.Does anybody know if this would make the system restrictive doing this?

Cheers just as £18 is bit steep for normal air filter will give cheaper one a go.

Have seen the genuine air filters are £18 but also seen the cheaper crossland air filter for around £4 just wondering anyone tried these cheaper air filters before?

Just got a really cheap quote off 1st central on my ep3.I'm 24 with 6 years no claims bonus and that is also with it protected £540 or £54 a month.Any one been with them before?This is not declaring my cat back exhaust system as they wouldn't quote for modifications online.

It was just the fuse that was blown..don't know how that side came on at all but is fixed now.Cheers for input guys.

Nearside headlight dipped beam bulb isn't as bright as other side..has an orange colour rather than white pretty much makes driving as if with only one headlight.Also when i use Main beams all lights go out on nearside and only off side main beam stays on..any ideas?

This happens on both bulbs on passenger side when put main beams on..no lights on that side.odd.

The 3rd light down..high beam one..lights when is on dipped beam but when put it on full beam one goes off.I take it the bulb has two different settings?Anyone also know what size type bulb as well?Thanks

Cheers,Will get on this hopefully again tomorrow.Pretty much did what you said apart from turning the engine on and pressing the brake pedal 7 times and also taking the wheels off,although everytime I adjusted the handbrake nut I checked to see how free the wheel spun.

Hi I have same problem but adjusted handbrake via centre console and didn't do anything really.The rear drivers side doesn't move as freely as the other side when jacked up so seems uneven the brake adjustment.Also when I checked underneath where the cable connectects to the caliper,the caliper...

Cheers hope is the pads as I just had a new caliper fitted on that wheel plus new pads and discs so hoping that pads just were not fitted correctly.

Noticed exessive heat and pads making a mark whole around the disc and only drove it 5 minutes down the road.Just had pads discs and caliper on that side.I'm thinking either pads were fitted wrong by garage or is handbrake?Any ideas appreciated.

It's scorpion 4 inch backbox is full system.The back box alone sells for £220 brand new but would be interested in some sort of deal.Can find a picture later on.

Bought my ep3 with full scorpion system just getting sick of the noise/drone on long drives.Any way to make it quieter or best to go back to standard exhaust system?

Bit hard to explain when driving from cold for first 10 minutes or so when in 5th/6th gear car feels like vibration on accelerator pedal.Also a juddery sounds..again hard to explain.Goes away when warms up which is strange.If anyone has any ideas or can make sence of this would be great.

Hmm strange sounds like what mine is doing but only does it when is cold for first 10 minutes of driving.Does vibrating go away in yours when warm?

I think I have similar problem.Car has vibrating sound until car is warm can feel it on acceleration pedal as well...hard to explain if anyone knows what I'm on about would be appreciated.
