Oh I no Chris, wasn’t sure if it was just an eibach spring thing. And crow555 I’ve replaced the rear shocks with brand new standard ones and it still does it. There only 3 weeks old. Normal driving it’s perfect just on sharp jolts.

I’ve noticed eibachs on the fn2 give a slight clunk in the rear when dropping off sharp speed bumps or similar. My mate runs eibach on fn2 and has the same. Apart from new rear axle bushes everything else is new.

Only tyres putting me off sorry bud. One thing I'm a little anal on is decent tyres. All mine have 7mm , rainsport 3s , not expensive tyres but good wet grip and daily use.

What the tyres like. I am so tempted.

I love the rages , and have 18s :) but not sure I could do it. have had them refurbished and new tyres.

I replaced the cat with a standard unit as mine had corroded and I got a mint second hand one for £20 :) you can buy sockets for rounded or corroded nuts and they work really well.

New rear shocks fitted today. Simple Job too less than an hour to do both sides :) Has removed the unwanted bounce on the rear of the car nicely. Removed Difference Re-fitted

I tried a few combinations and found Bpipes created rasp. Standard Bpipe and Differnt backbox altered the tone, mine went to a deeper tone with N1 backbox and standard centre. Replacing both went crazy loud unless silenced.

Ram airs own flexible intake pipe , around 80-82mm , removing the resonator box and going directory to the airbox. I'll add some pictures later.

I'm interested in trying fusso. But I do like auto glanz synth sealant.

I like it also but find it tends to dull the paint more than a real shine. Great all in one product. Can't beat a good machine polish and a layer of wax or sealant.

No didn't notice any change at all. Adding the CaF to the front of the car increased induction noise slightly as you could hear it sucking.

To be honest it looks abit half done. I'd want to create a smooth surface as yours is still rough. But never noticed a change at all even when it was fully smoothed.

Paint correction is the the best solution. But only if your paint allows for it. If the micron level is to low for paint correction then either a respray or a temporary fix like a glaze is ideal. Wax's and sealants work best on a clean surface. You can lock a glaze in but it will no doubt have...

Exhaust has now been put back to standard apart from the CPL manifold, nice to have the silence again but think I'm just getting old :) pulls just as it did so happy days, think a HKS is on the cards instead.

I've recently had the CPL manifold and it's certainly a touch louder. Loads more pops and bangs, the power increase is well worth it though.

Nothing exciting but finally sorted my Dodgy Arch Trim. Dropped the car off at JT Hughes Honda today to have a new arch fitted :) Finally it sits flush and a great service as always from my local dealer.

managed to catch the wheel on a rock today at around 3mph. Is this tyre worth Scrapping, its only a few months old and no cords showing?

I run a standard airbox and exhaust manifold without heatshields and have no issues. Be suprised if it is heatsoak, could understand with an open filter but not a closed airbox. A good blast and service is a must.

Yeah Eibach springs and FRSU is a great route to go. but i don't think the size of the wheels and firm ride will help to much. theres a few that drop to 17s to save weight and improve handling. if your tyres are all good personally i would leave them on

i love the Rage wheels look wise, But only read negatives about them. Prone to cracking and negative affect on Handling. Shame as there stunning and suit the FN2

Sounds really nice. it'd made it slightly more raspy but not much difference on tick over. just a little burble in the background. its mated to a 2.5" custom exhaust. twin exit. will see how it feels sunday :)

CPL manifold fitted. Not a bad job to do at all. Heatshields were the worst part. Rebuilding took around 20 minutes. Great fitment. No issues at all. Used heat reflective tape on brake pipes and so on at the back just for extra measures due to the lack of heatshields that were refitted. Ready...

Only two gaskets , centre section to bottom of manifold and manifold to head. Rest is all slotted

They did mine last year , 9 years old. Contact Honda Uk and explain to them.

Yeah I was considering wrapping it but never done it so think I'll leave it. Will the CPL need the fire ring musegroove as I thought it went straight from the head to the centre section. Haven't looked at what's required to be honest but guessing :)

Put an offer in for a CPL race manifold, be nice to get it fitted before the Tune on the 16th.

Very simple mate. Literally heat up the contact and fire in some decent solder. You want the solder to be shiney and not dull if possible. Think it's to do with the flux content.

Spacers fitted , wish I'd do it sooner. Certainly looks better if nothing else.

I only tried the latest software and it allowed me to actually make adjustments and connect to the car. Wouldn't even connect before so it must be working. Just hope they don't play about and release another update before my next session

Unfortunately can't have it tuned as the latest firmware on Hondata is locking it out and not allowing adjustment :(

Currently at EFI having it tuned. First run made around 202bhp but he said that's a genuine figure not fudged like some places.

i would fit the parts yourself if your happy to remove a few bolts. and i think thats a bit steep for the set-up. you could take the dimensions to a competent wheel alignment place and have it done for around £80-£100. Check on Align my car website for a local garage with a decent set-up.

Certainly sounds like something's not right. Would ideally need to go to Honda to be checked or a reputable Honda Specialist.

Where did you take it to be adjusted. And do you have camber adjustment bolts fitted? Edit : just read again, with it being stock I don't see how they could have improved it with adjustment.

There is some lads who do them for £130 with a £50 return if you send them yours afterwards.

Little bit of engine bay detailing. Painted Inlet cover black and carbon dipped the spark plug cover. Really keen on getting a set of genuine carbon ones from PasswordJdm or Dipping them Both with black and gold weave carbon print. Only a few weeks until the tuning :)

Engine dress up fitted. Next will be the two covers with carbon Dip. Also tinted the front two windows 35% and the top rear one with 20% Film. Looks really good.

That's exactly it. It's set to 0.800 at set Rpms and 0.900 seems to be better suited for all round driving.

Tweaked the Group N map last night. Mainly to stop vtec coming in while going up steep hills and in cruise control. Also selected the flat foot shifting option and tried it this morning while Data logging. Works really well, impressed with it.
