I believe the rattles in the window when slightly or half open relate to faulty window runners. If your car is under warranty these should be replaced. I'm going to get my dealer to have a look at the same time as they sort the first thing in the morning groaning clutch!!! :)

It may well be, if it's the mount, that you only hear it under certain circumstances like going round left hand courners or under heavy braking for example, that the wear is so minimal that you cannot repliacte the noise by any other means. I'd check just to be on the safe side.

Yes i agree. You can see how thin the paint is when a chip appears. Compared to the Mrs Yaris, it's like paper! Mind you, having metallic may help as isn't that thicker?

Can't you buy a film or get it professionally done by a company that isn't actually noticeable, but covers and protects the front of the car from this very problem?
