Well as measured at the pistonheads sound clash my S2000 was measured as being 124.8dB on their sound meter, I came 4th in the competition which thinking mine was ok on the noise level is scary.

1 Corvette C5 126.6dB
2 Gallardo 126.1dB
3 911 C4 125dB
4 S2000 124.8dB

I think all the cars were 'slightly' modified lol.

The guy in the Lambo doesn't seem bothered about bouncing his car off the limiter

Simon is that the same as what you had on your last S2000 when you had that argument with that bike in the carpark and the bike just beat you.

Not sure, that could have been the Spoon which was quiet in comparison.
Plus no cat now ;)

I want to get a new system which sounds a bit sportier but does not drone and must be about 100db max at 6k revs. Whilst I don't yet know which system to get to fit the need, the first thing I was told was to keep well away from the Ti as it was a touch on the loud side :)

Keep away from single pipes, the Invidia is a dual Ti, sounds nice and doesn't make your ears bleed, however a few people have had issues with baffles collapsing.

I'm definitely looking for a twin pipe to keep the look of the car as standard, but that is about as far as I have got. Doing a lot of research on S2ki.

I guess that would take it's toll over time :? But then I could compensate by turning my sound system up so I couldn't hear the exhaust, I'd presume, however, that this isn't an option for you..?
