(copied and pasted from detailing world)
Hi guys,
spent friday with Tim at his premises in Gosport giving my Civic some much needed Flex loving - due to only having a day to complete it, and the fact that the car is used daily, on track, lives outside 24/7 etc we weren't aiming for perfection. a massive improvement was made nonetheless
apologies for poor pic quality - all taken on phone, Tim also took some which one of us will add to this as and when :thumb:
products etc..
Kranzle PW
foam lance
various brushes including envy detailing ones
Envy iron awe
Envy shampoo
Envy bubbly jubbly snow foam
Artdeshine claycloth
Envy filler killer - no fillers used here
3m sungun
brinkmann
LED torch
LED worklight (on tripod)
Flex rotaries with annoying cables (x2)
various pads - 3m, Meguiars
Scholl S3 and S30 polishes (S3 needed on roof due to very sticky, time consuming paint)
various Liquid Elements cloths
Wolfs trim coat
Bouncers capture the rapture - roof
Bouncers Fortify - whole passenger side
Artdeshine Artdekostos - whole drivers side
Carskin tyre dressing
no 'befores' under lighting but have some 'afters' - under lighting, no 45 degree in shade afters here..
few in wash pics - I say a few as we had rain and hail to deal with :wall:
calipers are due a repaint, this one is silver as I had to get it replaced a while back..
new brush Tim will stock soon..
iron awe working..
taping up..
boot de-badged..
weapons of choice..
before.. (note clay cloth marring..)
after.. prior to refinement obviously
after some 6 hours (12 man hours) of machine polishing, with the roof being a nightmare..
blue flake coming through nicely..
dust removal..
tyres dressed, no wax applied yet in this pic..
big improvement made there..
and finally waxed - roof with Bouncers capture the rapture, passenger side with Bouncers Fortify, drivers side with Artdeshine Artdekostos..
will get some day time pics over the weekend, was dark by the time we finished..
arches not dressed as I will be taking the wheels off soon for a full decon and reseal, arch clean and dress and caliper repaint..
I will be keeping an eye on the durability of the waxes used and will update this thread accordingly..
massive thank-you to Tim again his help and hospitality today, cannot recommend him enough tbh
