Ep3 feels sluggish (i think) after a rebuild

Mine sits at around 750 - 800 rpm when warm mate. I'm not sure what else to check at the moment but see what they say when you take it back. Hopefully they can sort it for you. I would recommend after a engine rebuild at a 1000 miles or so to put some engine flush through it and change the oil and filter again to get rid of any diposits.

Hey Ricky, quick question mate, I'm in this same position re the engine rebuild c.800 miles ago. I was told to change the engine oil and filter which ties in nicely because I'm due annual service (despite only covering 1000 miles since last one) which I'll take to honda for. What is engine flush, not heard of this?

Hi mate. See link below for an explanation of engine flush and the best place to buy a tin.

I only use this if I'm changing oil brand, otherwise normal service intervals of oil and fully synthetic oil is suffient. But would definitely recommend using some after an engine rebuild.

Cheers
