Exhaust bolts

Just a quick one really, I bought a piper cat back last night. Just wondered what the size of the three bolts are that attach it to the cat?

Not entirely as a 14mm bolt and a bolt that takes a 14mm socket are completely different :lol:


It's now, not sure when, change to M-8

M-8 is a 8mm threaded bolt, which I think usually uses a 10mm socket....? :? lol

nah M6 uses a 10mm socket
M.8 is 13mm socket
M10 is 16mm socket

if i remember correctly from my time on the shop floor. Shame my Zeus book's at work so can't really help you till monday now

PS why is M.8 without the . filtered?

Could have done with your help actually haha well I took a 14mm socket into Wickes and it seemed to fit the M.8 nut

Well exhaust is fitted and the studs off the cat were fine so just needed 3 14mm nuts, not sure what M number it would have been lol.

And I think it's filtered due to text talk mate
