.: Faith's Satin Silver Type R - Rare ARC Goodie Added 6/7 :.

Thought i would start a 'Project Thread' on my latest car, a 2005 Honda Civic Type R EP3.

I picked the car up a little over 2 months ago after selling my BMW E46 Clubsport. To say its a different car to drive is an understatement!!

Within a couple of weeks i had some new ABP lowering springs arrive and were fitted dropping the vehicle 35mm allround, at the same time i had a FRSU carried out.

Next on my list of mods was an ARC Super Induction Box to help the engine breath a little better.Not to mention adding a healthy roar on acceleration at the same time. Enough of a roar to make it sound like there is an after-market exhaust on the car

Thats about all 'ive done so far,

Next on my list is to get the rear bumper re-sprayed and Ive also got a set of 4 brand new Enkei Evo 8 alloys to be fitted.

Never knew the ARC had a cheeky little filter poking out at the top too.

wish i would of bought the ARC instead of the tegiwa GM,no modding things hear and their to get it fitting right and it looks like it should be there pretty much oem.

These Turned Up Today!

Little Update:

Just a little something i picked up off of ebay, a Brand New Set of 3 Enkei Evo 8 Alloys...............for £70! :smt041






Managed to pick up a 2nd hand one for £50 which will be getting refurbished and powdercoated to match the 3 new ones this weekend hopefully.

Have got my spigott rings and wheel nuts all ready, will be picking up some new shoes for them at the end of the month, more than likely some 205/40/17 Parada 2's. If all goes to plan money wise then these should be on my car by end of the month

Good work, the Evo 8 wheels work really well on the EP3.

However, im a big big fan of the OEM wheels and find it really hard to find a set of wheels I would rather have.

i am in agreement apart from Mugen wheels which look amazing and very expensive.

Anything that costs half the price of the car, isnt a mod, it's a waste of money.

Afternoon people

After dropping my new Enkei's off at WheelWorks in Crawley a week ago to be painted, i finally picked them up yesterday. Were initially going to be Silver but as one wheel was just in need of refurb, ended up getting all four wheels painted in Bronze:smt054

The color is beautiful, is quite dark /moody when in the shade but as soon as the sun hits then it all goes quite light/bright and quite sparkly. Chuffed to bits with them and big thanks to Roger at Wheelworks.

Got some new Parada Spec2's fitted and popped them on the car this morning. Sorry no on the car shots as it started raining Will hopefully get some either late tonight or tomorrow.

Pictures really don't do the color any justice!

I cant stop looking out the window at the car
