Fools Disco3 HSE

Yeah...

Aux belt change and ARB bushes, drove like a dream, for 7 miles. Then loud whine and loss of power.

Recovered to home address, then back to dealership.

Cue Hatto Rage.

Call from them, blown turbo... Cock.

£1250 to replace.

The joys of motoring.

Spent most of last weekend avoiding dead Land Rovers, only to come here and be confronted by them

In fairness to it, managed 32mpg on the trip to pick up the zoomer.

However MPG's not really a problem.

Yeah, once turbo's replaced there shouldn't really be much else to go pop. It's had everything else changed.

Just a bit of a pain in the ass as its my projector fund destroyed.

Your repair cost are higher then the Saxo purchase costs.

But I'm sure your new turbo will last longer then the Saxo

If you ever hit your head hard enough to want a sticker stack "My turbo costs more than your car" would be a good one.

Courtesy car while the discovery is being repaired.

Sadly no D4's or RR's available till next week, so had to settle for a freelander 2.

Had to  @ book price of £28k.

It's nice, but not that nice.

Well, managed to talk them down from £90 per hour on the labour. Settled on £60... FFS.

Car back now.

Still love the beast, especially its now snowing like a CAAANT.

Could be drifting, watching women's pants literally fly off as you heroically negotiate roundabouts like a Japanese street drift pro.

But no.

Sigh.
