hi guys got my car m.o.t yesterday and advised discs and pads need doing soon, what should i be paying for the lot i,e i,ve seen a set on ebay for £95 is this a good price as i dont have a clue, thanks for any help you can offer damian.

Ive just had the StopTech stop sport disc's fitted from Eightspeed along with DS2500 pads and the stopping power combined is awesome! and i think everyone will agree that you want braided lines as well. EightSpeed are doing a deal on all 3 at the moment

^^

Agreed with Chi. I have StopTech Sportstops on the front, DS2500 all round with HEL lines and Castrol SRF.

Excellent stopping power that is quickly achieved with confidence. The Honda OEM discs are still a very good product if you wish to stay with them.

cheers for that, my problem is i cant decide if i,m going to keep the car so was just thinking of keeping it standard for now, so do you think £95 is a decent price, dont get me wrong i dont mind spending the money i just dont want to pay over the odds for them thanks again damian

if its OEM pads and disc's for £95 then yeh its a good price, but if money aint a problem and you drive spirited alot, then the upgrade i mentioned is well worth it!

I got my rear discs and pads quite cheap from here and not had any problems with them. If you are selling the car then buy cheap, so atleast they have safer brakes than any that are on their way out. If you are keeping it then DS2500s are the way forward by all account, paired with OEM disks they are sufficient on a standard car.
