Had my standard wheels refurbed and re-coloured

Got the car back from Wicked Wheels today. I got the wheels refurbished and powder-coated in a colour they call 'satellite silver' - Audi TT wheel colour.

Getting the car back was a bit nerve racking, since mine was the first CTR that I know of to have the same colour done. But I'm really pleased with the quality of the finish and the contrast between the black paint and rims. It should look even better once I've cleaned the car (hasn't been done in 2 weeks) and the black shines much deeper.

As long as it doesn't all flake off in a month's time I'm very pleased with Wicked Wheels - the staff were friendly and helpful as well as the work being top notch.

Pics now at this thread: http://type-r-owners.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=14472

£65 + vat per wheel.

They charge £55 + vat for more 'normal' colours.

Not the cheapest place, I know. But totally worth it :D

Thanks for the comments guys! Glad you approve.

Pic is a little too small... I can't see any difference? :(
As said I'll post more once the car's been blitzed over the w/end hopefully. SpaceMonkey's right, they are definitely brighter than the OEM version. But that pic isn't the best, I knew that as soon as I viewed it on the PC. btw I wasn't going for a huge change in colour. I just wanted them to shine and stand out more to combat the power of the black shine, when clean.
